Welcome to the NEC English Blog

Welcome to the new NEC English blog! Run by the Administration and International Affairs Division, the NEC's English blog aims to introduce what the NEC does in more detail to our English language audience. Whether you are an election expert, somebody interested in the Korean political system or a non-Korean citizen with the right to vote in the Republic of Korea, we hope to give you all the information you are looking for.

The blog will be part of the NEC's continued English-language outreach. You can still find updated news, press releases and more detailed information about the NEC and its roles and responsibilities on the official English website. This blog is going to provide a deeper look into the election management system we have in the Republic of Korea, the day-to-day running of the NEC office in Gwacheon and information for non-Korean citizens on how to vote and how the NEC serves the community.
